Life seems to go by so fast... I can't believe that it's already been 6 months since my sister had a little baby boy. I'm not known for my memory but i can remember these past few years clearly. Life is so precious and we shouldn't waste a minute of it. I can finally understand how a mother feels when her son leaves home and she's saying that just yesterday he was starting school. I know that sounds silly coming from a 14yo, but that is how i feel... Deegan will be 6 months old soon... I'm just a little astounded. Life is going by at the same pace as it has for the past 4,000 years or so, but sometimes it seems to go by like a sleek jet and other times like your very slowly placing one foot in front of the other.
Have you ever wished that you could do away with feelings? Sometimes you take a little longer than you normally would thinking about something and another takes your facial expression as an insult? You have to waste valuable mind space thinking of some way to explain to that person that you were just thinking. Feelings are good most of the time though and I wouldn't like to think about how the world would be without feelings. A group of robots standing around... Of course, we wouldn't actually look like robots. Those shiny or rusty bits of metal with a computer chip inside. We would still look human, but we would ACT similar to robots... do you understand my meaning?
