God

Here is a little writing that my mother gave to me.

Good Morning I am God.
Today I will be handling all of your problems.
Please remember that I do not need your help.
If the devil happens to deliver a situation to you that you cannot handle, DO NOT attempt to resolve it.
Kindly put it in the SFJTD (something for Jesus to do) Box. It will be addressed in MY time, not yours.
Once the matter is placed into the box, do not hold on to it or attempt to remove it.
Holding on or removal will delay the resolution of your problem.
If it is a situation that you think you are capable of handling, please consult me in prayer to be sure that it is the proper resolution. Because I do not sleep nor do I slumber, there is no need for you to lose any sleep.
Rest my child.
If you need to contact me, I am only a prayer away.

write soon,

Coffeegirl

P.S. Should I change my template?

Recovering

I have good news, my brother is much better.

He can use his walking frame 3 times every day now, and although he is better he has still not fully recovered. There is one thing that I will ask you to pray for.

When his leg broke the bones had slightly pierced the skin.

If that skin dies, (it will happen from the inside out) then he will have to have that piece of dead skin removed and he will have to get a piece of skin taken from his thigh or somewhere else flabby and have it put on his leg.

(otherwise known as a skin-graph)

apart from that he is much better. (only little bits of pain now) He is still unwell and he needs to keep doing exercises for his muscles every single day.

Thankyou for the prayers, he will hopefully be able to leave hospital in the middle of next week.

Thakyou very much, and my brother thanks you too.

Write soon,

Coffeegirl

P.S. I will try to find the time to write the next chapter in my Olly story.

getting better

My brother is much better. yesterday went well, and the doctors said that it would be better for him to use the crutches tomorrow than today. (he said that yesterday)

So today he is going to use his walking frame and on monday he is goingto use crutches. He has to do exersizes every hour to keep his muscles from withering away. (and so that it doesn't hurt as much when he is on crutches)

He is  SOOOOO much better now. when he has morphine he can actually put his feet over the side of the bed and touch the ground with his feet. (still painfull) Did I ever mention that when he broke his leg he severed one of his nerves in his foot. Now he can't feel the bottom of his foot.

To answer some questions.............

PadmeAmidala: since we live in a VERY small town in the hospital is not very far away, so it's not very hard to keep driving back and forth. We don't take turns staying the night in hospital. Dad only did it once because he just had the operation late at night. Apart from that we just go up early in the morning. But because he is MUCH better now mum gets up at about 6:00 AM and goes to the hospital but she leaves dad and I home for the morning to sleep in. I had a breakdown a couple of nights ago. It was all that had happened being held in for so long (a couple of days) then it was too much when it mixed with tiredness (a lot of tiredness) so I just broke down. Even the nurses were saying how much mum dad and I looked SOOOOOO tired.

They are happier knowing that we are sleeping in now.

He will hopefully come home in the middle of next week

I dont have much time left to write.

my brothers blog is Slicingwingman. (it's all about computers) and it's in links.

gotta go now, thanks for all the prayers, He really appreciates them,

Coffeegirl

something bad and something good

I'll pick up from where I left off.

It turns out that the leg cast was getting more and more painfull until he was in soooooo much pain that the plaster guy came in and had to saw a 1cm line down the front of the cast. As he was doing this my brother was screaming. There were not enough pain killers. After the cast had been sawed he was much much better, but his leg was was scarlet from where they sawed it away because it was so tight, and  he could feel the bones moving in his leg.(A LOT) Hours later they took him for another X-ray and they said that if the bones haven't moved they can leave it in the cast but if it has moved they will have to put metal pins in his legs on either side of the fracture to keep the bones in place. We all waited, waited for a long long time. The nurse came in and showed us the X-rays...........................................

The bones had moved considerably. My brother got really scared, it was from the shock the tiredness the medication, and lots of other things. The red blotches came up numerous times that day. After a few hours he went up to the operating theatre, dad went with him until he was knocked out. When dad came back to the room he said that when my brother had been out the front of the operating theatre and until he was knocked out my brother kept telling all these jokes and was in HIGH spirits. I think we waited for 2 hours and then we all went up to see him. He didn't want to see the metal pins in his legs so they were covered with a blanket. After half an hour or so he threw up all over himself and mums skirt. (BLERCH)

they cleaned him up and said that he had drunk too much water when he woke up. We took him back up to his room. (very gently) when we got there he was fine. Dad stayed the night with him but mummy took me home. We got up early in the morning and drove to the hospital. He was fine but he said that the bandage was sore. after a while he said that the bandage was really tight, and that it kept getting tighter. He was screaming. (mum wanted me to go with my friends for a while so that i wouldn't see him in pain any more. So I'm just telling this from my mums information) All I know is that the doctors cut the bandage and gave him some more medication, and that he was screaming in pain.

Guess what we discovered?  We discovered that he was only taking half the dose of medicaton that he was supposed to have. (I WANTED TO THROTTLE THOSE DOCTORS THROATS)  when I got back a few hours later the doctor came in and said that they were going to try him on morphine again. The nurse came in and injected it.

then he felt practically no pain at all and he didn't caome up with red blotches. Then they gave him panadol and the pain was 99/100 % gone.

A physiotherapist came in. (NOOOOOOOOOO)

he was trying to get my brother to move his leg up and down and pull his body up and straighten his other leg and lift it and he was just pushy, pushy, pushy. when he had finished he asked my brother if he had any questions so my brother replied "When are you quiting?" everybody cracked up laughing. (his friends were there to visit him. Including the one who was on the trampoline at the time he broke his leg) when he was gone I can't remember what happened. I was soooooo sleepy that I can't remember much. when we came home last night mum said that she was gonna let me and dad sleep in in the morning and that she was going to go see my brother. This morning i woke up, got dressed and made my bed then I turned on the computer and started writing then mum rang and asked if dad was there. (he's at work right now) so mum said that he had had a good nights sleep and that apart from his chest hurting BADLY(thanks to the physiotherapist) he was fine. He is going tot start on his crutches today, that's when mum is gonna pick dad and I up. So this is where I end the entry for today.

thankyou for the prayers,

GOD BLESS,

CoffeeGirl

More news

Today mum me and dad went to the hospital early in the morning. my brother was trying to eat his breakfast but was in to much pain so I helped him. It turns out that he is allergic to Morphine and had a bad reaction to it. This morning his knee was in soooo much pain because the leg cast had been very tightly wrapped around his knee. My brother hardly EVER cries, but it was so tight he started to cry a bit. The pain in his face was very unpleasant to see. He ended up going for another X-ray and after a few hours the plaster guy came in and took part of the plaster (fibreglass) of his knee. He has a whole leg in plaster. After that part was taken off he was much better but none of the painkillers were strong enough to kill the pain. (even remotely) I forgot to tell you that when they had nearly finished the x-rays Samuel seized up and couldn't move and trouble breathing. They raced down him back to his room and helped him to breath again and his hands eventually stopped seizing. A few hours after the plaster had been taken away, he looked so much better but his leg and his foot were still twice the size of his other leg. (from swelling)

when he was better mum and dad and I went out for half an hour to get something to eat. When we came back we gave him a seafood thing from Subway that he asked for. (he loves them) He ate only a little bit because he's feeling so sick from the pain and the medication. Anyway we ended up borrowing telly and a game cube from the hospital for him to play. It kept him occupied. (before the gamecube, dad went home to get som rest while mum and I stayed with him) At five thirty dad turned up to stay with him while mum and I go home and get some sleep.

last night the operation was a success but he did end up getting a little bit of hives. He is much better now but still in pain. Thankyou for praying for him. I will keep you updated. He will have to stay in hospital for a couple more days, but hopefully he can come home on Wednesday or Thursday. He will have a leg cast on for ten weeks. The first five weeks he will have the whole leg cast but the last five weeks he will have a half leg cast. (the doctor says that he will not be able to walk for the next ten weeks. (his cast will come off the day before we move)

write soon,

Coffeegirl

P.S. the hospital serves food for the whole family. It doesn't taste that bad, and is all very healthy.

News Headlines

Dear Reader

There is a story I must tell you about that occured two hours ago.

This morning I woke up and the phone rang. (ring ring)

It was my brothers friend, asking if he would like to go over to their place at about midday. Mum and dad said that it would be fine. So at midday they picked him up and took him over to their place. Mum took me out to K-mart and bought me a skirt and top to match the shoes I had gotten the previous week. We came home and about 3 hours later the phone rang. (ring ring)

I answered it. "Hello Coffeegirl," (i won't put in my real name) I heard a voice say "I need to talk to your mum or dad immediately." So I ran to mum and told her that my brothers friends mum was on the phone and that she needed to speak to her right away.

Mum picked up the phone and no sooner had she picked it up than we were in our car on the way to his friends house.

We got there just before the ambulance........................want to know what had happened?

My brother had been jumping on the Trampoline with his mate, Josh. They had landed at exactly the same time and because it was such a big trampoline and the mat went in like concave, he had snapped his leg. He broke his bone playing harmlessly with his mate. thankfully his dad was a Nurse and treated the leg as best he could but, when the Ambulance got there mum went with my brother in the ambulance and I went with dad in the car.

We got there before the ambulace because they had to drive slow cause of his leg. The pain in his face was..........unimaginable, and I was shaking so hard by this time that I couldn't stand without feeling queezy and lightheaded. Thankfully the bone had not broken the skin but it nearly had. The doctor said that he probably broke 2 bones not just 1. Right now I am sitting in my room writing while mum and my brother are at the hospital. He should have had his x-ray by now but he will more than likely be home by tomorrow night. He was really brave. We went into the hospital with him, but then dad and I went to buy mum some food while he slept in lullaby land. (he was only half asleep.) after that mum said that she would stay the night with him and that me and dad should go home and have some dinner. So dad took me home and we had dinner and now I'm writing.

The phone just rang again. It was mummy saying that he has his x-ray and that he has broken 2 bones. They called in the orthorapedic surgeon and he said that he might have to readjust his bone tonight or cut his leg open tomorrow and use lots of medication to keep him knocked out while he is doing the operation. (putting a pin in his leg)

I better go now. PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE,

PRAY FOR MY BROTHER. He is in a LOT of pain and it is painfull to see his face. PLEASE, pray for him.

Thankyou very much

hello

Dear Reader

today I have a joke to keep you occupied while I'm writing the story.

There was a man walking down the street in Texas and saw a sign that said "Worlds best chilli" so he went inside and asked for a bowl of chilli, the cashier said "No, sorry, we just sold the last bowl of chilli to that guy over there. So the man went over to the guy and saw that he wasn't eating the chilli so he asked if he could have it, and the guy said "sure, I don't care". So the man took the bowl and started eating it, at the bottom of the bowl he found a dead mouse and threw up the chilli back in the bowl. The guy nudged him, "Yeah, I did the same thing".

Hope I didn't grose you out to much,

write soon,

Coffeegirl
