Love in Colorado--and beyond! (Valentine's Day Postmark!)
Hello Colorado Homeschoolers!
Wouldn't it be fun to send a Valentine with a special postmark on it?
How about one from Loveland, Colorado! Check out this article on Squidoo about the history of it and how to send yours!
There are many lovely sounding place names out there that would make perfect postmarks for your perfect Valentine! All you have to do is send your card, addressed and stamped already in a larger envelope to the Postmaster of your choice and if you get it there soon you can have your card delivered with a special postmark from some of these kinds of places:
* Lovely, KY 41231, * Lovejoy, GA 30250,
* Lovejoy, IL 62059, * Loveville, MD 20656,
* Loving, NM 88256, * Loving, TX 76062,
* Lovelock, NV 89419, * Loveland, OH 45140,
* Lovelands, OK 73553, * Valentines, VA 23887,
* Valentine, NE 69201, * Valentine, TX 79854,
* Bridal Veil, OR 97010, * Romance, AR 72136,
* Kissimmee, FL 32741, * Bliss, NY 14824
Be sure to check out this article by the postal service to get more info.
Don't forget to have correct postage on your card, and to send it to the Postmaster with the correct postage too. I didn't double check all the postal codes, so you might want to do that too. :)
What a fun homeschool project, don't you think?
Happy Valentine's Day!
