Hi everyone,

Our Colorado Home Education Legislative Liaison, Treon Goossen, was the recipient of an award~

 the  Homeschool Liberty Award from HSLDA! 

 She was given this special award at the closing banquet of the National Home School Leadership Conference.  Chris Klicka, of HSLDA was the presenter.  Chris and Treon have worked tirelessly to preserve our homeschooling freedoms here in Colorado.  Treon is one of the original writer's of our homeschooling statute, and works hard every year to keep our legislators informed, and to keep US informed on any proposed changes to our law.

Treon shared in a homeschooling update that she was shocked, surprised and "never thought to be honored in such a way from my friends and fellow laborers in the fight ot maintain home school freedoms." She also said, " Chris Klicka, my dear friend, gave the award presentation and I was deeply moved, and still am, by his comments and his friendship.  I thank God for such men that work tirelessly so families can home school in peace, not only in the US but around the world."

Congratulations Treon!  We love you and appreciate every thing you do for us here in Colorado!  May God continue to bless and keep you safe as you do this great work.
