Where can I find this Nancy? I found some neat books at Barnes & Noble the other day. As soon as I have them near the computer I will put them on here - they are great books for fun places to visit in CO.

Jan. 30, 2006 - Thanks & Books ;)

Thanks Nancy :) I have saved it in my favorites and emailed it to myself ;) LOL I will take some time later to look at it more thoroughly.

As for the books I mentioned eariler they are: Insiders Guide fun with the Familt Colorado by Doris Kennedy. It has a lot of great ideas for day trips for the family with kids :) It tells you the phone #, hours and price range to expect for the facilities. They are broken down by area (metropolitan Denver and suburbs, Northeastern Colorado, etc.). The ISBN is 0-7627-3485-X.

The other book is Oddball Colorado A Guide to some really strange places by Jerome Pohlen. Here are a few things you will find in this book: UFO Watchtower, Colorado Alligator Farm, the petrified wood service station in Lamar, the underground firehouse in Creede). The ISBN is 1-55652-460-9.
