Okay - I'm sure there's lots of conversing about the new set up here in the blogosphere. I think I may have to visit the forums. This is weird. It's taking quite a long time for this stuff to load up.

Anyway --

I was going to make some random posts...

I think I'm nearly done with my Christmas. I have some miscellaneous people I'd like to bless - but I can't figure out how to bless them exactly. The biggest thing I need to do is buy for The Professor. I have no idea what to get him because he has no idea what he wants. I'm seriously thinking about getting him a gift card to Lowe's. I'm thinking it's not very sentimental - but he'd use it for his budding woodworking hobby.

The kids and I have been having a blast with an Advent calendar we found - and coupling it with a lapbook on the Christmas symbols - we're learning about the symbols of Christmas. The fun part was they heard the "Legend of the Candy Cane" today in church. Mini- Me asked if I would teach it to her again so she'd be able to remember it. I was impressed at her thinking. She often impresses me like that though.

I'd love to take pictures of our fun - but I can't find my digital camera. If you see it - send it home.

Enough rambling for now. I'm going to try to formulate my thoughts into a "real" entry.  We'll see how that goes.
