I just had so much fun reviewing Happy Feet that I'm not sure what to blog about. I'm also wondering what I can review next. I'm not sure I'd have as much reviewing something else. It's just not every day you get to review "Footloose on Ice".
I just can't believe Christmast is just a few days away! I know many people use this time to ponder - for me, it's just too much fun to spend time pondering. I did have a Christmas present funny. I have yet to find my digital camera. I had it out at the blizzard of '06 and haven't found it since. I've looked EVERYWHERE. So I got out my film camera. And while I was out of the room two days ago, someone opened up my camera and exposed the film. *grumble grumble* My mom had come up the other day (was it the day we had stitches put in G's toe?) and I had jokingly tiraded about it. G grinned sheepishly and followed me around for a bit and then said "That might just be what you're getting for Christmas."
I had to laugh. I had gone to the effort of telling the Professor that I wanted it to be a surprise. I'm thrilled though. That means the Professor was listening! Especially since I honestly can not find the other camera. I'm also excited because my other camera wasn't working the best. Sometimes the shutter door wouldn't open. Yippeee!! Merry Christmas to me.
PS - I've also found my camera. I, apparently, hadn't looked everywhere. Especially on the floor behind the computer - in just that one little spot.
We've been having such fun with our advent calendar. It's been rather funny to hear the kids learn about Christmas and it's been a hoot for me to learn more about them. The First instance came when we sang "Away in a Manger" I've blogged it and you can read it here.
Yesterday we opened the door on the calendar and discvoered that we needed to talk about what we would give Baby Jesus. My kids are so practical and funny at the same time. Mini-Me decided that she'd give him a snow-globe to remember his birthday forever and a blanket & clothes. G decided that Jesus would need toys to play with and a night light. :-)
I have to admit - I never would have thought to give Jesus a snow globe.
Merry Christmas & Bleach-Free blessings to you!!
Mele Kalikimaka!

I'm still in a Hawaii-type mood.
