Notes from the Laundry Pile

Jan. 6, 2007 - This is too cool!

After the HSB updates, My friend Thoughtfulmom had lamented that she missed the "Friends" RSS Function that she had been using previously.

What's that? Was my first reaction...my second: What did I miss?

I did not know that it was possible to monitor all your blogger friends in one location. *Gasp* My third reaction? why didn't know about this sooner?!

Since I was now very interested in the answer to her dilema, I watched the comments - and someone recommended:

Bloglines

So - being a very curious person -- I checked it out. What's the harm? It's free.

And now that I've tried it - I have to share!!!

It took me a bit to enter web addresses - but after the initial set up and subscribing to blogs - keeping up with those blogs is a breeze. AND It's user friendly. This was important to me, with 4 kids that love to distract, it had to be easy.

I love the interface! The only problem came when I discovered that I could not subscribe to all my bloggerfriends. That wasn't an issue with Bloglines..and that's okay - I got most of them.

I highly recommend Bloglines - I've hooked up a few blogs from "blogger"...I can read them all! And only know when something new has been posted. So give it a shot...

I just have one request....

Turn on your RSS feed, people!

Please.

And then tell me you did - so that I can try to subscribe to your blog

Hmm...I think my RSS feed is turned on...It was before all the changes. I'll check to make sure.
We just saw the P&B episode with Pinky's "If you farm pigs..." line. Very funny! For your reference, it's on Animaniacs season 2: Bubba Bo Bob Brain.
It's always nice to refer to a TV show and not have the person tell me, "Well we don't watch television." You wouldn't believe how often that happens to me! For us, TV is a tool, you just need to know how to use it correctly.
Peace,
Cristina

About Me
There are four kids here in the laundry pile, often times, playing king of the hill. Which amuses me - because I am the supreme high ruler of this laundry! *Looking around* ... There's also 1 hubby and a cat in here somewhere....
