If you are not planning to teach your children communication skills next year, you should read this article!
In today's society, it is more important for
success to have "it", "that special something", "charisma" in order to be
successful. Much of this is due to the fact that we no longer have a society of
small communities where face-to-face communication takes place. We now rely
heavily on electronic media where we have only seconds to make up our minds
which message we want to listen to. Life is also much faster paced these days
and our children will need to learn to make a good first impression. Charisma
is not necessarily something you are born with. It can be cultivated and, as
you might have guessed, it involves a series of communication skills. 
This article is from a secular viewpoint, but the
research is quite interesting!
If you are not planning to teach your children
communication skills next year, you should read this article! It's even more
important for Christians who are often misunderstood, overlooked and brushed
aside in secular society. And our message is soooo much more important than the
ones mentioned in the article...AMEN?
