It's hard to climb the ladder of sucess with your Foot in Your Mouth!

FIMM went in to work early today in order to talk to his father (the President of Blogger Cable) about a promotion.  There was a supervisor position open and he wanted it.  It had been a few weeks since the previous supervisor moved out of state and FIMM knew they had been interviewing.  FIMM's Dad:  I'm sorry, son, but a supervisor has to be good with the people. A supervisor has to discuss delicate issues with his customers and the employees under him.  Unfortunately, we have had some complaints about how you communicate- even with your fellow employees.  FIMM:  What complaints?! FIMM's Dad: (Pulling out a file resembling War and Peace)  Well, for starters...the day that Bob was sick... and he came in to get his check.  You told him to "suck it up!" and you made him work.  FIMM:  Yeah.  Well, Bob hadn't done one call all day!  All he had was a slight cold.  I just told him to keep up with the team.  You know...to motivate him-like any good leader would.
