If you are just joining my blog, every Sunday is Defending the Faith SONday here at Communication FUNdamentals. I post an article or event or issue related to sharing and defending the faith and I ask others to join me in order to keep this important issue in front of each Christian. Everything we say and do communicates something about us and our faith to those around us. I want each of us to be conscious of that fact as we go through our week and prepare ourselves and our children to ...
"be ready to give an answer to those who asketh the hope that is in you with meekness and fear." from 1Peter 3:15.
Today I thought I would highlight some of the folks who have taken up the challenge of posting on Defending the Faith SONdays on their own blogs and websites:
Serving the King of Kings has done a great job here with her first Defending the Faith SONday post. She talks about Blind Faith vs Intelligent Faith! Great job!!
Karla Akins has such an inspiring and touching story of witnessing in her post called You Have to Know What's True. You all have to read this one!
Dana from Essance of a Woman has posted Defending the Faith SONdays where she talks about two friends of hers who share their faith so well. Thank you Dana!!
Thanks to everyone who shared their own Defending the Faith SONday stories! If you are wondering how you can help the awareness of Christians to the cause of Defending the Faith, it's fun and it's easy!
1. If you have a blog, please consider posting on as many Sundays as you can about someone who is actively working to defend the faith, a news story that illustrates the need for defending the faith or anything that helps fellow Christians understand how they can defend their faith better and teach their children the to do the same.
If you don't have a blog, please post a Defending the Faith SONday post here or on any other of your Yahoo or MSN groups!
2. Please reference my Defending the Faith blog posts: http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/CommunicationFUNdamentals/Defending+the+Faith+Sundays/
so that others can see what they can do for Defending the Faith SONdays also.
3. Then come back to my blog and post a comment with YOUR Defending the Faith blog post so my readers can read it too!
4. Get your teens and preteens to write about Defending the Faith and bring it to the attention of your homeschooling group or church youth group! It's a great exersize in communication and a fun way to get them involved in writing and expressing themselves. Make sure to emphasize the need to use grace and respect!
Please help me spread the word about it so that one day we can have a network of Christians communicating for the Lord in a graceful and respectful way as we educate the world about the true meaning of Christianity!
