Foot in Mouth Man Strikes Again! Come tell us your cravings!

Episode 68: Cravings...

Now that FIMM and Bonnie are expecting a baby soon, FIMM thought he would give Bonnie an extra special treat.  He heard that pregnant women eat weird things.  He and Bonnie had a conversation about it.  She was telling him about all the weird cravings women had.   FIMM took ice cream and poured some sardines on it with chocolate sauce.

Bonnie was, indeed, surprised!  Apparently FIMM wasn't listening when Bonnie told him how awful that sounded to her and how she had really wanted some chocolate ice cream.

Bonnie knew FIMM meant well, he just wasn't a very good listener.  She said her thank yous from ...inside the bathroom!

What were  your cravings when you were pregnant?  Did your husband misunderstand?  What did he bring you?  lol

Sep. 5, 2007 - cravings?

Posted by rvnurse2b
Never had very strong cravings, there were things I liked with each one...
with dd1, it was Taco Bell, Slim Jims and fish sandwiches...and TV dinners made me sick.
With ds1, I liked hot dogs and canned spinach...don't remember any aversions.
With dd2, I liked watermelon and hamburgers but almost everything else in the world made me sick- dh ate garlic and I thought I would die! The smell of everything was bad- even perfumes- I had to go unscented on everything! Food was pretty much all disgusting- strawberries were the worst, and I couldn't even open my spice cabinet without getting sick.
With ds2, I don't remember a single craving, and I wasn't sick very much at all.
I was looking for pet sites with my dd and I just HAD to put this link here- it seemed appropriate to the FIMM food mistake... Warning- this contains some REALLY strange recipes!

About Me

I was raised by two Atheists of Jewish heritage, married a non practicing Catholic and became a non denominational Christian due, in part, to some Amway meetings and a Jehovah's Witness who came to my door. My purple crayon writes with humor and almost always a little out of the lines. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ This blog is my creative and fun way of sharing my thoughts on communication skills relating mostly to homeschooling and sharing and defending the faith. It also reveals a bit about how the Lord took this shy Agnostic girl and allowed her to find her voice and her purpose, a zany voice to the Christian community with insight as to what unbelievers need to hear about Christ Jesus. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ I'll share news items, quotes, family friendly humor, tips, trivia, and my newest feature: Question of the Week. I invite you to come share your thoughts! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ For more creative fun with JoJo you can visit www.ArtofEloquence.com ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ "A word fitly spoken is like apples of gold in pictures of silver." -Proverbs 25:11
