First of all, I'd like to take this opportunity to praise God for what He is doing through Compassion International!  When I first started this blog, I planned on updating twice a month with a new featured child.  But I haven't had to wait that long on any single child before that child was sponsored!  I had no idea that so many people are sponsoring children through Compassion.  Each child that is featured on here has been in my prayers, not only that they would find a sponsor but that they would find Jesus Christ as their Savior.  Well, the prayers for sponsors have all been answered, and I continue to pray for their salvation.  I know sponsors can be a great help in this area, also. 

    Our new featured child is Dilip, a 15-year-old boy from India.  Actually, Dilip will be turning 16 tomorrow!  He lives with his father, mother, and 1 sibling, and he helps out by gathering firewood, gardening, and washing clothes.  His father is sometimes employed as a farmer and his mother maintains the home.
    Dilip is participating in church activities, Bible class, and camp through Compassion's ministry.  He is attending highschool where his performance is above average.  He enjoys swimming, singing, and telling stories.
