THE CONNECTICUT STATE PARKS FAMILY ADVENTURE!

Last year parents and children from all across the state discovered the exciting opportunities available at Connecticut's State Parks and Forests. If you missed the chance to explore these venues, or even if you want to experience the fun again, then get ready for another thrilling installment of The Great Park Pursuit!

With a whole new line-up of clues, hints and featured locations, you and your family will be journeying around the state to learn about new places while having fun in the great outdoors. Hike picturesque trails, catch fish in forest streams and test the echo from a mountain top — all without leaving Connecticut!

If you can meet the "challenges" at each of the seven game locations, then you'll have a chance to win great prizes, including an "outdoor excursion" equipment package courtesy of North Cove Outfitters. Be sure to check out the game rules for eligibility requirements.

Each family team will also have a personal web page created to chart their progress, so you can track your favorite families online. Check back often to view photos and read written comments of their experiences, too.
