The H.E.A.T. Not-Back-To-School Family Olympics is less than 2 months away.  We realize that everyone is busy with their summer schedules, but there is an enormous amount of advanced planning required for this event.  We need estimates of how many families and children are planning to attend so that we may begin to identify volunteers, organize events, and purchase H.E.A.T. necklaces and event beads.

Please let us know via email by July 27^th if you plan to attend (include number and ages of children).  If we do not have sufficient numbers of participants, we will have to cancel this event. 

Registration is handled directly through the Westerly YMCA (see below).  We’re hoping to see families from across our CT/RI/MA region at this event!!

Please join us for our 3^rd annual Family Olympics event on September 8^th at YMCA Camp Wohelo in Charlestown, RI.  This low-competition but intensely fun-filled day will include rock climbing (4^th grade and up), swimming races, canoe races, archery, running races, activities for the younger kids, and more.  In addition, the day represents an opportunity for homeschoolers to network with others across the region as we continue to grow the H.E.A.T. concept and create even more opportunities for our children.

The YMCA has graciously agreed to keep the costs of this all-day event to $10 per child over age 3 yr to a maximum of $25 per family.
