I'm really sad right now. Because, we had to put down my horse Mack. He broke his leg in the horse trailer on way home from riding at my Popa's on Monday. I loved my horse. We spent a lot of time together. This is Cowboy's momma: Please say a special prayer for him because he has been really sad. Thank you!!! |

My mom wants me to blog my favorite verse and what it means to me. Here it is: John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whosoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. My mom was on her blog, so I decided to take a look at mine. She is writing this entry for me. I got bucked off my horse at the Christmas parade in Dec. I wasn't hurt and luckily some pretty girls came to check on me. Good timing! Well, that's it!!

I went to the fair today. We got armbands so we rode a lot of rides. My favorite was The Fireball (I think that's what it's called.) I had a really good time. |

Today, is my 8th birthday! To make this day special, my PawPaw, Dad, and cousin Kati went on a trail ride with me. We had a really good time and when we got back to PawPaw and MawMaw's house they had me a surprise birthday party. I had a really good time. Daddy and Momma let me pick what I wanted for supper. I chose Rick's BBQ. I have had a really good birthday. |

My Popa bought Mack for me. Last Friday, we went to The Walls of Jericho, in Winchester, TN. It is a camping and trail riding place. We were very high up in the mountains. I had a great time. I have spent most of this summer in the saddle, on the back of a horse. I wouldn't have it any other way. Although, I am not getting to ride everyday, I still see them in the pasture and when I go to feed everyday. I have a real connection with them. My mom wrote this entry for me!!! |

This weekend has been filled with all kinds of excitement! Last night, my dad, Popa, little brother, & myself went to a horse sale. We had a really great time. I found a paint horse I really liked, it was really big, but Dad wouldn't buy him because we didn't have a horse trailer with us. This morning we got up pretty early and went to my Popa's house. They were shoeing horses. Then me and Dad went on a trail ride with Charlie, Burt, Jeff, Jake, & some of our other trail riding friends. I rode Mack. This is one of Jeff's horses. We might buy him. We rode for about 4 hours. My legs are very sore!! I had a really good time. That's all I got!! |

Both my grandfathers' have horses and so does my dad, so loving horses just comes naturally. I started out riding our pony Star when I was a baby. By 3, I was riding her all by myself. This spring, my dad bought me a big horse named Rio. He's 25 years old and is a palomonio. He's a really great horse, but my brother, Halston who is 4, is riding him now. I am looking for a younger horse, but now I am borrowing friends' horses. I love trail riding and I love being in the horseshows. There is no way to describe how I feel when I sitting in the saddle on a horse. I Love It!!! P.S. My Mom wrote this for me. My sister is yodelinggirl! Hank |
