Here is the next devotional! It is based on being chosen for a calling and how we react when we are called.
Judges 6:14-16 (KJV)
'14And the LORD looked upon him, and said, Go in this thy might, and thou shalt save Israel from the hand of the Midianites: have not I sent thee?
15And he said unto him, Oh my Lord, wherewith shall I save Israel? behold, my family is poor in Manasseh, and I am the least in my father's house.
16And the LORD said unto him, Surely I will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the Midianites as one man.'
God has a calling for you, for me. A high calling designed especialy for us!

TO REMEMBER
Find out what God would have you do,
And do that little well;
for what is great and what is small,
This only He can tell.

We cannot decide for ourselves what is a 'high calling' and what is not! Only He can. He has made each one of us special. Each able to do seperate things. I am going to mention a quote from one of our previous devotions:
"Men judge us by the success of our efforts. God looks at the efforts themselves."
~Charlotte Brontë (1816-1855)
God has made each one of us for a reason, a purpose. Let me ask you, have you given up yours? Have you passed something by because it wouldn't be considered a 'high calling'? Go back and pick it up! God loves you!
