"Hope To See You At the Finish Line."
Sep. 15, 2009
Thank You LORD!

Well, last night; it was 9:30ish; I was going to bed. But when I closed my eyes, and then opened them again, there was something in my right eye. "Huh." I told myself, as I walked from my room to the bathroom. "I wonder how that got in there."

I flushed my eye out, with cold water, four times, and nothing. I told my younger sister Becca( BooBoooBecca) and we went to the bathroom. She told me to flush it out some more, before I woke the 'rents up. So I did. Nothing. I could see, a small shiny abject, in the ring of color of my right eye.

Now, there was no doubt, in my mind, that I had to wake them up now. So, I quietly knocked on the door; no sound came from inside. I knocked again, still nothing. Meanwhile, the pain in my eye was growing.

After about four minutes of solid knocking, I gave up. (THEY WERE OUT!)

I began to cry, outside there door. I tried to hold my eye open, because blinking, looking, and moving my eye hurt really badly.

I could see, through the corner of my left eye, Becca looking at me, from around the fridge. She walked up, and said: "Mandy, BANG on the door." And I did. Mom came to the door first, snaching up her robe, and slippers.

"What's wrong!?" she asked, as she saw me crying in front of the door. I showed her, and we tried flushing it out more times. After about ten minutes, we tried something else. I went to the kitchen sink, and got the sprayer. I sprayed my eye, and tried to get through the pain of the chlorine. As Shawn went through the phone book, looking for the nearest Hospital, I looked over and said:

"Well, at least one good thing came out of this.

I think I can open my right eye under water now."

Then, we went outside.

We tried using the garden hose.

After about ten more minutes, we were at a loss.

We went back inside. The pain in my eye was at it's peak now.

We decided, it was time to head to the hospital.

So, when I was filling up my water bottle, mom looked over at me. "Is that strong enough?" she asked, taking the bottl from me.

I squirted it on my hand, to see the power of it, it was strong.

Then, mustering up most of all my strength left, I prepared, to shoot myself in the eye.

I held my head over the sink, and began to hit myself, as hard as I could squeez the bottle. Nothing.

"She needs more presure." mom said, giving the bottle to Shawn.

"Prepare." he said, coming over to me, after he had been paicing the floor.

"oh, man." I said, knowing it was not going to be gentle.

"Alright, hit me with your best shott." I said, as I prepared.

He sraped, and I cried out in aganizing pain!

I ran away from the sink, holding my eye.

I ran, and threw myslef up against the fridge, and fell to the floor.

My mom, went over and rested her hand on my head.

"That would be a no." she told Shawn.

"Go get a shower, and see if you can work it out." mom said.

As I was getting a shower, I remember thinking:

"Will this change my acting career?"

"PLEASE LORD!"

"Will this change my life?"

"PLEASE LORD! PLEASE LORD!"

"What will I do, if I have to get surgery?"

"Please, PLease, PLEASE LORD!"

It would not have been my first surgery.

(I had surgery, when I was seven, for something I will not say.)

When I got out, I saw them all waiting.

"It's still there." I said, as I saw there spirits fall.

Then, We loaded up, and went to the Hospital.

We went in, and took our place in line. We filled out the papers, then sat, and waited.

We waited for about twenty, mabey thirty minutes tops, and My name was called.

I went back to the room, aswered all the qeustions, then a doctor(a very cute one) took me back to the room, when another doctor would see me.

We waited fo about three minutes, and he came in.

"So, what seems to be the problem?" he asked, walking over to me.

"I have something lodged in my right eye. We can't get it out." I told him.

There was no doubt, that you couldn't tell, I was in pain, and had been crying.

He went away, and came back with a package of something.

"I know he is going to stick that in my eye." I told myself, as he unwrapped a Q-tip.

My mom held my hand, as her held my eye open. Then, he took the thingy, and swipped it across my eye. Becca looked away, and Shawn crindged. "You have a 'Corneal Abration'." he said, after stepping away.

"Well, it's out." he said, and washed his hands.

Mom looked inmy eyes, and saw a blury make in my right eye.

We never found out what it was, in my eye, but I still have a blury spot, where I can't see.

I am getting the medacine tonight, witch I have to use for a week.

So THANK YOU LORD!!!!!

couldn't have done it without you!
