Satirical Silly- Ebay Takes the Moral High Ground!

My partner Dena, just posted a new auction site that cropped up in light of Ebay's new Teacher's Edition Book Ban. Head on over to her blog and check it out!

I've been reading a lot about this new policy on Ebay. Apparently, they really are taking action against these "Teacher Edition Violators". For Ebay to take such an "ethical stand" even though there are no laws prohibiting teachers editions to be sold to the general public is baffling when they make money (maybe millions) off their "mature audience" section. If they want to start banning books, the porn auctions would be a much better place to start!

Wow, I am only at your second post down and I am loving this blog. What a wonderful source of info. I am also a homeschool group leader in Nevada. I need to finishing reading then I will make sure and post this site to our homeschool newsletter. Love the door alarm thingy. I hate yelling "Close the door" every 7 secs. Have a beautiful day.

Just goes to show how money drives the bottom line and not common sense! Love the graphic...you need to enter some of these in contests or something..You are so creative.

BTW, I got my Clean N Flip chart today! I'm so excited...I'm going to get my baskets tomorrow. I think I'll take some before pics of DS's room...oh, my, how can 1 13 yo do that to a room?! I'll let you know when I blog about it....if I don't faint from a clean room :)

I hope that everyone complaining here will send a letter of complaint to eBay -- they do respond to protests and have quickly reversed many an inane policy in the past when they realized they were alienating a huge customer base.
