We are finally in our house up to our eyebrows in packing boxes. The new carpet was installed yesterday and I have to say, the house is totally transformed! After the carpet installers left, my  mother was sitting in the dining room, just looking around and said, "I can't believe this is the same house!" I will try to post the first before/after pictures on Wednesday, when we get internet hooked up (I"m at my sister's house writing this).
