Only, one more room to unpack, the master bedroom! It is so full of stacks of clothes and boxes that my mother (who is a very organized person) just about hyperventilated when she saw it. I won't show you what it looks like until I get that room put together. Here are before/after pictures of the living room. The estimated cost of getting the house to what it looks like right now (which is basically all cosmetic) is around $2,000, give or take a couple hundred. This price includes: paint, light fixtures, wallpaper, floor tiles and carpet (includes installation). Tip! If you buy carpet from Home Depot...don't get it installed through them! Next project, prepping the exterior of the house for painting in the spring. AFTER

It looks absolutely beautiful. My walls are a similar color (Sherwin Williams Anjou Pear). I have lived in my house 3 years and have not put up drapes because I am drape challenged and hyperventilate everytime I go to the store to pick out something to match. I bring in my little paint chip. I am confident and I leave empty handed. I wish I had your sense of style!
Our walls have been white for 12 years!!! I can't seem to get them done. I love color but am a perfectionist, and can't do it unless I *know* it will be perfect!!! LOL
I loved your post about "you" too. We have a few things in common, like my hubby has given me perms too. How precious! My daughter cut my hair once, and it's taken it 7 years to grow back. Hehe.
Well, I just can't tell you how impressed with the house make-over I am. You are so talented! What an inspiration :)
Well Done......it looks fantastic! you must be EXTREMELY happy! I love revamping an unloved home myself , so I know that feeling of when it is finally complete! Enjoy the fruit of your labour!

I so admire people with vision. You are definately that. I could never buy a fixer upper because I have none! I just panic and go to the new home builders!! :)
That is just beautiful! The after photos are so warm and inviting. Is that your sister in that second photo...she looks like she was getting ready to chase after that camera! It looks like you all are enjoying your gorgeous new home. And, I can see someone did the Living Room Zone ...it's spotless :)
