We have a Shower!

After four months of living here, we finally got a shower! Between the plumber fees and shower kit, it was a little spendy, but worth it! My husband was most thrilled. Getting that new shower motivated me to paint the bathroom a darker gold,  and the clawfoot tub to boot!

What an incredible transformation!! Your new bathroom is beautiful. And, how did you ever find a shower curtain that matched so perfectly. As always, love the wall color...very warm and inviting. So, I hope you took a long, soaking bath in that gorgeous tub when you were done scrubbing, building and painting.

Well, actually I took a shower...it was such a treat after that many months of not having that option. I do love our bathroom which is funny since it was one of the rooms that was in the worse shape! I remember thinking that I probably wouldn't be able to do much with it, since it was so bad.

That tub reminds me of our tub in our other house. We built new in 1997 & we found a guy who redid tub. I really wanted to bring it with me when we moved 2 1/2 years ago. We are in the process of redecrating but a claw foot tub won't fit. I am so jealous of you. Your whole house is a home of my dreams.

You are so talented. I do not enjoy decorating. After living in our house almost three years we painted the kids' bedrooms. They look great, almost makes me want to paint all the other rooms---nah...

We have an old house as well, and lived with just a clawfoot tub for numerous months. Just not fun! When we finally got our shower converter kit installed, dh and I were both so giddy! We've not taken a bath-bath since! It's showers for us, all the way! :P At any rate, just wanted to say I know how ya feel, and how excited you are by it! Congrats!
