We finally have grass in our front yard! We actually put it in a few weeks ago but I forgot to post the picts. Rolling out the sod (instant grass!)  was the easy part. Getting the lawn ready with a rototiller, leveling it, killing the weeds and taking out the dirt clods was the hard part. I am so glad to have grass! No more tracking in all that dirt into the house.  The cost  for a 1200 SF lawn (front lawn only) was just under $400....well worth it.

The night before the grass was delivered I got a hairbrained idea to line the walkway with bricks. So  I jumped in my car and off I went to Walmart for some bricks. These bricks cost around $25 and took me about 3 hours to put in.  I finished up under the moonlight but I got it done just in time; so glad I did as it's a nice effect for very little money. It was also a great way to incorporate more of the dark red.
