Starting School- First Grade
Starting School, everyone has to start somewhere and since Madison is an accelerated learner I have to be careful and go slower or we would be done with everything in a matter of weeks... so slowly we are starting trying to get into the swing of things.
She really enjoys doing her work and amazes me at how fast she can comprehend things.
She takes pride in her work as she wants to share it with her daddy as soon as he comes home from work.
Since Madison is accelerated that doesn't make her smarter or better than the next child by any means, we all have gifts and talents. She is a fast learner and once she 'knows' it she doesn't like to waste time doing it over and over and over again. She would much rather learn something new once she has mastered whatever it is she is learning.
I am truly blessed!
I enjoy homeschooling, being with my daughter as she is a blessing and a joy.

I have 14 yrs. between my children. My 1st blessing, my adult son Z-4/89. My 2nd blessing, my daughter, M-12/02, I am homeschooling 1st grade this year (2008-2009) and pray that God will grant my hearts desire to continue this journey of homeschooling. |
