John 3:30-31--He must increase, but I must decrease. He that cometh from above is above all: he that is of the earth is earthly, and speaketh of the earth: he that cometh from heaven is above all.

Oh. My. Gosh.

I never thought that I'd ever even dare to even consider this idea, but...

I HAVE!

Here it is...

"Should I stay on HSB or switch over to Blogger??"

Oh. My. Gosh.

No, really!

Oh. My. Gosh.

This is horrible, wretched, un-cool, terrible, stinky, bad, not-good...

*end drama queen act*

Actually, I have been pondering whether I should stick to HSB or switch to Blogger. Lots of people have, but I never really though that I would ever want to!
          Why? Why? Why? WHY?

I don't know.

Seriously, though -- help me out here, people! I'm in a serious pickle; a ginormous dilemma; a -- maybe I should stop and actually think this over, and -- and -- well, let's analyze HSB for starters:

HSB vs. Blogger:

  1. HSB is... in a way... "safer" than Blogger.
  2. HSB is for homeschoolers (that of which I am =), while Blogger is for everyone, not just homeschoolers.
  3. Blogger is really easy to use -- you can add gadgets on your sidebar easily, and you can add buttons and lists, and all sorts of things to your sidebar really easily. With HSB, you have to know HTML. Which isn't really a problem for me -- just a hassle.
  4. They're both free -- that's always important. =)
  5. Blogger has more fonts that HSB does -- HSB has 6, while Blogger has 8, including webdings.
  6. If you have ten bucks a year, you can have a "custom domain" name powered by Blogger, while on HSB, you have to always have the "homeschoolblogger.com" part before.

I'd like your opinions. =)

I'd like your opinions so much in fact, that I made a poll so that it's easy for me to see the percent of people who don't care, people who want me to go, people who want me to do what I think is best, and people who love me so much, that they want me to stay. =)

(yes, I know it looks girly. Build a bridge and get over it.)

NO!! Please don't switch! I hate it when people move over to Blogger! I don't get around to reading their blogs as much, for one thing. And it makes me sad when people switch. Blogger seems less personal, less social than HSB. What made you get the idea to switch?

I think that you should switch over...so far it's been SO much easier for me. The only thing is you can't do PMing... which is a plus for me b/c I hate getting weird private messaging. You make the choice though....

Your decision is up to you.....I would vote no, however, it's not my blog. :)

I think that's where Missirocks got the background. :) It certainly is cute!

Blessings,
Mara

I should have......I also do the dishes three times a day. :)

Perhaps you could try Blogger and HSB and go from which one you like the best. :) Have you ever been on Blogger before?

Blessings,
Mara

My name is Renee and I'm a born-again Christian living in the USA, where Barack Obama was just elected president. I dream to be a missionary when I grow up, to the place God has called me. But until then, I fill my days with school, learning about God and blogging... not to mention all of the things listed in the "interests" section of my profile.Though I don't get to ride horses often... I've never sky-dived in my life, and I don't ever plan to, in case anyone was wondering.

These Are A Few Of My Favorite Quotes...

Only the truly strong and great can be truly tender. Tenderness is a mark of nobility, not of weakness.

James Phillip

Christ uncrowned himself to crown us, and put off his robes to put on our rags, and came down from heaven to keep us out of hell. He fasted forty days that he might feast us to all eternity; he came from heave to earth that he might send us from earth to heaven.

W. Dyer

Jesus Christ did not say, "Go into the world and tell the world that it is quite right.

C.S. Lewis

If God forgives us, we must forgive others. Otherwise it is almost like setting up ourselves as a higher tribunal than him.

C.S. Lewis

We ought to give thanks for all fortune: if it is good, because it is good, if bad, because it works in us patience, humility and the contempt of this world and the hope of our eternal country.

C.S. Lewis
