I missed out on the whole leash for a child thing.
So I'm making up for it now:I'm thinking the 18-yr old will get extra time for the crossed eyes....

Suspending them in mid-air assures that they can't escape:

I had my oldest (26 next month) on a leash when he was a toddler (for his own safety and my sanity). Man, did we ever get dirty looks, comments, etc. If only they had walked in my shoes for even a day...the kid was one of those boys who ran till he dropped, and then crawled till he fell asleep in his tracks.
