Well, it's been a while....Here is my update:
Our van is STILL not fixed.  ....we got it back and put it in 2 days later, got it back again and went to pick up Bear and Meela at camp and everytime the car went over 35mph we swerved into the left lane....SCARY!!!!!
So, we put it in again and they are trying to say it isn't from the accident...Ummm...well, it didn't do this before!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, now the insurance adjuster has to go back and reevaluate and we are carless in the meantime. UGH.
My mother very graciously lent us her car but it only seats 5, not 8...a little problem, huh??
We have completed our first week of school. I like WP a lot and M seems to be doing ok with it so far. Next year if I continue to use it, I may add Science and LA as well, but I am really not so sure about that yet.
Bear is doing an online Math until I can afford Teaching Textbooks. I am not crazy about it but at least she is doing some type of Math.
Meela is using a lot of hands-on for history and I think she is enjoying it much more than the textbooks we used last year.
My problem is with Boo (and Tink although she is still quite young). I have no time to fit his schooling in. I am very disappointed by that but M still needs much of my time. I know God will work it all out. Eventually....
Natalie is doing well. She now sleeps laying down.. For a while she would only sleep in her carseat. For the most part she sleeps through the night. Once in a while she will wake up.
Yesterday we had a road trip!! I took Meela and Bear to NJ to see the Jonas brothers again. I sat outside on a bench and read my book. They had a good time and actually saw someone from Church A.
Speaking of church...haven't had a car to go. I feel like a bad Christian. I want to go back to Church B again.
Prayer requests:
1. A little girl at Church A had to get a valve replaced in her heart. Pray for her health. She is doing well now but how scary that must be!!
2. Our car situation...UGH
3. Unspoken request.
Praise:
1. We have really great kids. I am so blessed to be able to be home and teach them.
2. God answered a financial prayer today. We were $60 short on a bill and short on food---then got a check for $150 in the mail!!!
3. The Math website. As I said above, it isn't perfect but it is giving Bear practice.
