Oct. 14, 2007 - Sick again!!!

Ok, so we are sick again!! I think it is the crazy weather's fault. It was 85 degrees last week then it rained and now it is chilly. Fall has arrived (finally). But, we are sniffling, sneezing and coughing AGAIN!! UGH.

Last week was nuts....Monday Bear had Biology and we started storytime at the library for Tink and Boo. Tuesday was Meela's appt., Wed. was a different Dr. appt. and Thurs. was supposed to be MOPS but I didn't go. Then Friday was Sign Language. We were out every single day. This week is quiet. Thank God.

Well, I had a very interesting discussion via IM with my brother-in-law about Christianity. He sent me an article which was clearly anti-Christan in my opinion and I asked him why he felt the need to send it. This led to over an hour of dispute. Friendly dispute, but dispute nonetheless. He feels Christianity is childish, silly and a crutch. The sad thing is he is very well versed in the Bible and many, many years ago one would have believed he was a Christian. He said he has grown past it and Jesus was basically a fake. **sigh** He insisted the article was NOT anti-Christian but was anti-evangelical. Ummm. ok. Anyway, that was a tough conversation but it just convicted me all the more that the Lord is alive and well and is the true way to Heaven.

Let's see, what else is happening. Natalie is eating cereals and really likes them (did I blog about this before?? lol) She watches us eat all the time and when she has her food she is ready with mouth open!! Funny. She has been quite miserable the last couple of days and I am afraid she is getting sick this time around...hopefully not.

Going to go do lesson plans for the week. Just wanted to give a quick update...

1. Natalie doesn't get sick.

2. Bear and M stop fighting.

3. Wisdom to know what to say in conversations such as my brother-in-law's.
