Can you believe it is Thanksgiving next week??? I think this year has flown by so quickly. Next thing it'll be Christmas and then 2008.
We have so much to be thankful for. The freedom to homeschool, the freedom to practice our religious beliefs,the freedom to have more than one child legally, the freedom many women don't have in many other places...the list goes on and on.
Anyway, just a few thoughts.
On to more mundane things. I got my hair trimmed today by a "real" hairdresser. I usually go to the local place that is very, very reasonable and I usually get a pretty good haircut. This time I went to my sister-in-law's hairdresser. There was a difference!! I can feel that I got a good cut, kwim?? I can't do this all of the time but it was a nice treat. Then my s-i-l treated me to a seafood birthday lunch...YUMMMY!!! I got a super duper jumbo sized prawn on lump crab meat on top of spinach in a white wine sauce.....**sigh** --a small piece of heaven here on earth.....
Tonight is the Boy Scout sleep over and can drive. M can't wait. DH on the other hand...lol.
Bear is down to one medicine for her epilepsy. They took her off the Topamax due to major weight loss and is now on Depakote which is increasing her appetite and helping her to gain weight. Praise God!!
Thankful for:
1. Food, shelter, transportation.
2. My family.....my mom, can't say enough about her.
3. The USA
Prayers:
1. Unspoken
2. Keeping the Lord in the holidays.
3. Patience...
