I went ahead and removed the bread recipe I posted yesterday. I am going to work on adding photos with the steps and then re-tweaking it and then reposting. When I first started making bread, just as helpful were clear directions were pictures that helped me walk through the process. I thought it might be helpful for others too. =0)
It wasn't until I actually dove right in, that I realized how simple and easy turning out your bread could be and is. Up until recently I relied on my bread machine. I still use it. Especially if I want to make 1 loaf of some special type of bread that I want to be ready for dinner. But for our everyday bread needs, I actually prefer handmade. I can make more at one time. And the process is almost therapeutic. Plus it's fun to add something here or change something there...and then sit down with a cup of tea and a piece of toast...your toast...mmm hmmm. Sense of accomplishment right there. You made that bread. Yep, the simple things in life.
So in the next week or two, I'll put the post up again with pictures. I can't do it any sooner, since I just made my bread yesterday. I have 4 loaves plus 1 in the freezer from last week. That's some bread eatin' until next time!
I'm taking a bloggy break for the week. A mom's gotta do that sometimes!
