Busy Weekend
Happy Easter weekend everyone!
What a glorious time of year, remembering the sacrifice that Jesus made for us, an unworthy bunch of sinners. We serve an awesome and loving God that would give his only Son for us. I am glad I was not asked to make that same decision. I am not sure I could have done that. Anyway Thank you Lord for loving us so much that you did do that for us.
Today I have a ladies breakfast at our church that I am doing, I am serving pancakes and sausage. We have an Easter sunrise service tomorrow that the men put on for everyone and it is usually awesome. We have some great men cooks at our little church. Mom and Dad are coming down for lunch, and of course we are having ham, potatoes, corn, peas, homemade rolls and pie for dessert. I am making a mixed berry and an apple I think. Maybe even a chocolate cream. Ymm.
We worked outside yesterday on our lawn, cleaning it up after a long winter of branches breaking and snow being piled up there and of course where there is snow plied there is dirt, especially if you live on a "Dirt Road" My flowers are poking up through the ground and I am so excited to know that summer isn't far away.
Well must go get ready, just got home from feeding calves and I have a distinct "oder" of calves clinging to me. Have a great weekend.
