The Sunny Side of the Room

Interpretation

Posted in Preschool Stuff

While the house was still quiet and the sun barely up, I attempt to have some quiet moments to think and pray. Little Miss (4), heaves up to the table her mighty box of crayons and paper and climbs up next to me.

 “Look Mom, I made Jesus.”

“Wow. He’s purple and orange.”

 And pink. See.”

 Of course, pink.

 A few minutes later ….

“Mom, I drew opposites.”

“Show me.”

Pointing to the lines on the page…..

“Large, big, large, big, large, big, large, big.”

Pointing to the next set of lines …

“And see these. Small, tiny, small, tiny, small, tiny, small, tiny”

“Nice. That was very creative.

We’ll be working on that.

You'll never believe this...my 4-year old boy's favorite colors are orange, pink and purple (in that order). Every picture he colors or draws has those three colors in it. Too funny!

I hope it comes soon and that you have a wonderful journey! Trips are such fun. Time for learning, recuperating and enjoying your family. I certainly hope you don't mind that I've added you as a friend. :)
