Feathered Friends

Erckle the rooster ......

and his groupies.

Mag, Marge, Mel, Meeps, Mac,  Mizzie.

They're going to provide us with lots of farm fresh eggs.

A dozen or so every few days.

I'm into positive thinking. And sharing eggs.

But so far its only Erckle the rooster who's providing anything. 

About every few minutes or so he lets us know he's alive.

Cracking up.....Erckle?? Seriously? Erckle?? That's so funny.

We've had roosters from time to time, too. A couple I thought might just be with us for awhile. Sooner or later, though, they all began crowing all through the night, which was not a pleasing sound to my husband. The all-night partiers all had unfortunate accidents. Here's hoping that Erckle will mind the clock a bit better than our roosters did.
