We had a trip already scheduled to house sit for my parents when Z came down with the chicken pox. Z didn’t care where he was scratching his itches, so we spent four very relaxing days in the mountains. Z bounced back to his old self about day 9 of the pox. He really did well over all. I’ll post what I used to keep the itchiness at bay.
Some pictures of our good times:

C ready to sled
A warm storm came through a few days after we arrived and started melting the already low snow pack. Luckily, the kids got outside early in the trip and made a run.

We cooked some seriously good meals.

Legoland Trip - done!
I did something I never have time for anymore. I scrapbooked! I love my parents long table for laying out the pages in event order before slipping them into the album. Believe me, this was nothing fancy. Little Miss even helped sticker some pages. I miss scrapping, not just for the hobby, but the joy it brings me to watch the kids look through the albums over and over again.

Playing Ticket to Ride
Lot's of games!

Glowing bowling shoes

Weird huh? I think this is Z. I think.
When Z's sores finally scabbed over, we found a very cool spot to bowl and play pool. Bowling under strobe and black lights isn't the time to try and beat your high score. But it was a fun memory none-the-less, and made for some cool pictures.

Little Miss is a better shot than me.

C with the winning shot.
Now it feels like we are all playing the waiting game. Who will get the pox next? Baseball practices have started and Mike has two sets of catchers gear.
One for our boys, and one for the rest of team.
Just in case.
