Pray for your Pastor

I came across this blog today and was thrilled to see a pastor who has spelled out some specific ways to Pray for your Pastor.  We were blessed to have been invited to one of our pastor's homes yesterday for lunch.  What a blessing to be in their home full of married and unmarried children, grandchildren, and friends, and to receive their gracious hospitality.  I want to encourage you to read this article and then DO IT!  Pray for your pastor.  I'm going to pray for all of you who read my blog, that God would give you an enlarged heart to be praying consistently for your pastor and his family.

Thank you for this! I passed it on to my church's email prayer chain.

What a terrific resource! I printed it, and will ask my own pastor to add his personal suggestions. :-)

sometimes the hardest part is just "doing it" - like you said. I try to remember my priest and his wife in my prayers everyday. Thanks for the reminder and the resource!

I'll read the article, Dana. Thanks for sharing it.

I know I need to be praying daily for my pastor and his family. I seem to have gotten out of the habit of it somewhere along the way. This is a timely reminder for me.

What a great way to serve our church and pastors.
I know that sometimes I lose sight of the fact that pastors and church leaders need not only the protection that comes from prayer, but the assurance that the God given gift of leading the church are to be honored and appreciated by the congregations they lead.

This is a GREAT reminder, and I receive the prayers you've prayed over me. Thanks Dana,
