I think I can safely say that fall has arrived! Our pecans have fallen and a lot of leaves. It is only cooler at night right now but there is a breeze during the daytime that keeps our house cool and our A/C has been off for 4-5 days now! We went out to pick up pecans because we FINALLY got a good crop for the first time in 3 years! I'm so happy! We've picked up quite a few, but we had pecan snachers one time when mom was gone and they took A LOT of our crop in the front. BUT we still have a lot in the back but the the icky mos. keep biting! I get 10 JUST going outside for 5 min! Anyway below is us getting our pecans: sorry that the pictures are fuzzy I do not know WHY they did that! Smoochie keeping watch over our progress:

We had fun doing this it was so nice and cool (that day anyway) and we had a lovely time and I got Smoochie to walk a little We are going through a coughing sickness and it takes FOREVER to get done and India has had it and is on the mend, but KP is in the middle of it and Fritz is getting it. Please pray for our improving health and that no one else gets sick! |
