The spray bottles have a mixture of Shaklee products (that I use and sell) that I use as an "all-purpose/germicidal cleaner". I absolutely love the fact that it cleans everything in my entire house (except for the mirrors and windows, which is a mixture of only 2 DROPS of the cleaner in a spray bottle), not to mention the car and everything else. I have cut out SO much clutter under my sink in not having to have so many cleaners for individual jobs. This cleans the floors (the kids just spray and mop), as well as the counters, walls, leather furniture, tables, toilet (I usually use a little more of the germicidal in there!), etc! Plus it's not smelly so it's okay for all of us to be using!
I have a cleaning kit too, but I thought it was cute to include the kids and they can't wait to use the dusters... funny... we'll see how long that holds up!
Amy:
The housework photo contest is officially open!! Could you let your challenge participants know ...there is a nice little prize pack from Dahlem's Soapworks for a bit of pampering :)

Drop on over to my blog and read about the new official Blubber Bloggers group. I'd love to have you help spread the word to those who are in need of a support group like this. We have an email group at yahoo besides our official blog here at HSB at http://www.homeschoolblogger.com/blubberbloggers
Thanks, Amy!

Hi Amy. Thanks for your hard work in getting us all ready for tomorrow. Praying that I will stay the course. Thanks also for all your prayer updates. May the Lord keep watch over you, baby and family. God bless.

Great! I can't wait to get started! My baby is due in 28 days, so I'll get as much done as I can before she gets here, then I'll have to play catch up! But I'm excited to get as much done as possible! Please place me on your nofification list...Thanks!
I like your posts! Thanks for sharing and caring. I cannot do the clean house challenge, but I appreciate hearing about it. I am cleaning my basement this week, though! I also like receiving the prayer requests.

Getting my kits together!!! Are you going to have us a schedule for each day? If so, maybe you could post them the night before so we could get our mind/schedule in gear. I like to try to plan my day the night before. It doesn't always go the way I plan it, but I like to know a little bit of what is going to be going on.
Praying for you & the little one, Traci
Yes, I'm putting the finishing touches on a little organizer for you ladies... it should be up tonight or tomorrow first thing. You'll be able to get it together on Saturday and Sunday, and Monday is when we actually start our cleaning. The devotion is for Sunday... so Saturday will be the time you can sit down and look over the organizer.
I never thought I'd be saying that about getting my house clean Amy, but look how inspiring you are!
Last night I got a phone call at about 8 pm from one of my husband's co-workers asking if it was alright if he and his wife could stop by after work. Of course I said yes, and then PANICKED! My living room, kitchen, and bathroom were NOT VISITOR READY! I ran around like crazy making things (at least) not so embarrassing. What an awful feeling.
I am so excited about this starting that I'm almost jumping up and down and clapping my hands like a little kid. Why am I so excited about cleaning, of all things? I must really be ready for this. LOL
If anyone is interested, I'm doing a grocery challenge at the same time. I need to clean and declutter my fridge, freezer and pantry too! The info is at my homemaking blog at http://fireinthehearth.blogspot.com/. Is it OK to post stuff like this here? If not, please feel free to delete the info and let me know it's not. OK?
Okay, I got an early start today by cleaning the van! It looks beautiful. All the winter grime is gone inside and out.
I also got completely caught up on laundry so I would be ready for the challenge.
Let's go--

Went to Target today. Got everything I need. Even found some stuff for the kiddos. Thanks for the idea of the little buckets for them. Will there be a list for the kids too ;) Thanks so much for taking the time to do this. You are a Blessing!

You've done a lot of work! Thanks! Hey, guess what? My toilet was overflowing last night, adding to the mountain of pukey laundry that I have from 2 sick little ones. ya think NOW is a good time to start cleaning? lol Why not, right? At least it'll be clean for the next one that falls prey to this bug.
What I also found interesting was that I just got out my Prescription for Nutritional Healing last night and made a list of supplements and dietary changes that need to be made both for myself and my family. I am looking forward to the link you provided about the grocery challenge as well!
I'm not one to normally see things through to the end - a really bad character flaw of mine -but I am looking forward to this. My goal is not so much to have this little (temporary) rental house spic and span as much as to declutter in anticipation of our moving into our OWN home sometime in July! So, this is great! I need to focus :-)
Just happened upon this today, so I'll be starting up a little late, but this could not have come at a better time. We're putting our house up for sale and I've been agonizing about all I need to do around here to get ready. I can't wait to start this. Thanks for all your hard work!
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
