So I haven't forgotten about "BOOT CAMP"... in fact, we're in full swing as we set out to finish The Clean Heart, Clean Home Challenge. It got to be a bigger thing than I anticipated, so the "Boot Camp" posts are on hold for now. The challenge really runs together with the challenge, and with baby on the way, I just can't keep up with both for now. We're working on our hearts, as well as our home (and I'm working on a curriculum idea with the kiddos for their hearts as well). So, for now you can find me doing The Challenge with my kids, cleaning our hearts and home!
I read your bio alongside your blog and noticed you reminisce about the time when you and hubby can travel. I'm there now and it's amazing how quickly that time arrives. But it's a double edged sword. Gone are the sounds of children busy in their daily studies and activities and it has left the house hollow sounding. My hubby is a wonderful man and has done all he can to ease me into the empty home school syndrome but I do miss our children. Enjoy every moment you're given. It is gone soon enough.
Hi Amy, I haven't had much time to blog lately, but just wanted to stop by and say hi and tell you I still think of you and pray for you, even if I don't seem to be around! God bless you today. In Him, Colleen
I agree with you completely, which is why I want to take our children with us! We want to this with them! I'm still praying about it... and praying for the patience I need until then!
I missed the part where you said you would love to take the children with you. It's a bad habit or something where I read too fast and miss words and phrases. (and I used to get after my girls for doing the same thing:) At any rate, what a wonderful idea. One of our best memories was going, as a family, into the Alberta mountains for a week. I'll pray that God gives you the opportunity and allows it all to fall into place.
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
