Due to a
comment I received awhile back, I am starting a new category on my blog called,
SISTERS AND BROTHERS IN CHRIST.
Here is what I wrote in my post on March 27th:
- "I'm also in the process of setting up a new category on my blog, "SISTERS & BROTHERS IN CHRIST". Here I will list anyone who feels that our blogs can share an important ministry to each other through prayer requests or important information on bettering ourselves or our homes. Our blogs can be a wonderful way to learn and grow from each other, as well as keep each other posted on urgent requests. Those on the S&BIC list are saying they don't mind a comment being left in order to spread the word about these types of subjects."
I guess this group is really to let
me know (and rest assured) in the people I leave comments unrelated to their posts. I don't want to offend anyone, so this list will eliminate that. This list is of people who know my heart and know that our blogs have a higher calling... to serve Him.
I realize that people can read my posts to see prayer requests and such, but when there's something that's "time sensitive" it will be great to know that I can let this list of people know and they can spread the word as well as fast as we can!
Thanks so much to those of you who have faithfully prayed for those in need. I know that they appreciate it so much, as I would if I had a daughter needing surgery, a son who was missing, a husband who was very sick, or if I were no longer here.
If you would like to be on this list (homeschoolblogger or not) please leave a comment telling me so (along with your blog address if it's not here at HSB) and I will add you to the list featured on the right in the side bar.
Email me as well so I can send you the information through email and you can make the post on your blog. Put "S&BIC" in the subject line of your email. No one else will see your email address. Don't forget to put your blog address in the the email! As much as I would love to leave comments, it's extremely time consuming the larger my friend list grows (how exciting!) and is a real time-sucker. Being able to send you an email for an urgent prayer request, will get it out there much faster and then you can determine if you'd like to post it or not. When I can, I will leave a comment on your blog (cuz that gets the word out to anyone reading your blog as well) but when it's time sensitive, it will help to have the email addresses.
I will be adding those who sign up as they come... there's no time frame on this.
Blessings to you and yours, as we continue to come together for the glory of God through something as "simple" as our blogs! Please take a moment to read,
"A Blogger's Version of 1 Corinthians 13".
In Him,
Amy
