SCHOOL ROOM

REMEMBER....  (what to prepare and plan each night)
  • What's for breakfast tomorrow?  Get anything ready that you can tonight.
  • Lay out clothes for everyone... (BY THE WAY... JUST BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T TACKLED THE LAUNDRY ROOM, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE DOING LAUNDRY!  Make sure you've got that on your schedule so you don't get further behind and have a real disaster to catch up when we get to that room... which happens NEXT WEEK!)
  • As you get done in each room, make sure that you're keeping it picked up.  Take 10 - 15 minutes before the kids go to bed and make sure that everything is done so you wake up to a clean house in the morning!
  • Have you looked at your Weekly Challenge Calendar and know what's happening tomorrow and the rest of the week?  (appointments, etc that you can't forget...)
  • Have you planned your Weekly Menu?
  • Write in your Prayer Journal on how you're feeling and doing with the challenge, as well as meditate on the verse for this week.

REFLECT... (on The CHCHC)
  • Leave a comment on the blog to share and encourage others. Your comments may uplift and encourage someone else!  Be a blessing!   (For those of you who are not "homeschoolbloggers", you can still leave comments! For those of you who don't have a blog, please leave a comment and sign your name.  If you have a blog somewhere else, than just leave your link in the comment. Here are some questions to get you thinking... be sure to be writing your thoughts in your Prayer Journal as well!  We never know what will happen from one day to the next, and your journal is an important part of remembering your journey throughout The Clean Heart, Clean Home Challenge.
  • How is the challenge going for you?
  • How is God speaking been speaking to you?  Have you been listening?
  • How is you Challenge Schedule/Plan going?
  • Most importantly... how is your HEART?  What are you learning about yourself?

RENEW... (your heart)

Create in me a clean heart, oh God, and renew

a right spirit within me.  Psalm 51:10  (NKJV)

PRAY:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I have so many tasks to get done, yet even more importantly than that, I need to clean out my heart.  There are many things that I've left alone, but they haven't gone away.  Instead, they've sat waiting until I address them.  Now is the time.  I come to you with things that need to be cleaned out from my dirty heart.  (Name the things that you've been keeping (either hidden away or obvious) in effort to deal with other things.)  I want to cleanse my heart so I can rejoice in You Lord.  I deserve nothing of Your rewards, and certainly not the greatest gift of all, which was sending Your Son to die for my sins.  Thank You for giving me the ability to seek You for relief of all these things that have been harbored deep inside.  I pray today and every day that I would live each moment knowing that You are always there.  Thank You for everything You've blessed me with.  I pray that I would be found worthy in Your eyes of the rewards You send me.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
