• Saturday, April 15, 2006 - Prayer for Emily Again...
Emilywill be having surgery again on Monday, April 24th. If you would like to commit to a specific time, then please leave a comment telling me when and I will add you to that spot. If you can't do a specific time and will still be praying, please stop by Crystal's blog (Emily's mom) to let her know that you'll be thinking of them and lifting them in prayer.
Also, if you're not a part of the Homeschool Blogger community, please leave your site address so I can leave a link in your time slot! Thanks!
(This is referring to their time zone (Central), so please take your time zone into consideration when signing up for a time to pray.)
Thanks for committing yourselves to prayer. Please pass this on (or make a post in your blog). Also, if you're interested, please read about "Sisters & Brothers In Christ" and its "purpose".
Amy:
I can do anytime Sunday night and Monday morning. I'll be on the road traveling the rest of the time and would rather be somewhere quiet and undistracted when I commit my prayers for Emily.
Thank you so much for organizing this!
Michelle
I will pray for Emily tonight at 9:30 and tomorrow at 6:30 Central time. Thanks for doing this. I know it is quiet, but that is probably due to Easter, not much action at HSB today.
Thank you SO much Amy for doing this for us yet again. I'm just all out of words and no longer know how to express the gratitude I have for people like you and those praying for us. I am just awe stricken and it brings me and my family great comfort knowing that so many are praying for Emily and our family.
When Emily was in for her last surgery which took an unexpected 8 hours all I wanted to do was just be on my knees and pray for her. But the feeling of anxiety that overtook me and not knowing why surgery was taking so long it just took a lot out of me to pray. I just kept saying to God you know what I need and You know what I want to ask you for. I know that You know my heart Lord please just fill me up with Your love and peace and know my prayers. Also just knowing that someone somewhere was praying for Emily EVERY hour just REALLY truly brought so much comfort and just relief, I'm not sure if that makes any sense. That was just my experience.
Thank you Amy and to everyone for praying for our precious daughter.
Of course, I'll be praying throughout the entire day, but I will make a special point to lift Emily and her family up in prayer during these two particular hours.
I would like to pray for emily & her family at 10:30p.m. on Sunday, April 23. Could you please let me know what time the surgery will be on Monday? My children & I like to pray while the circumstance is actually taking place, if posible. Blessings, Traci
P.S. Continue to take care of yourself & the little one. When is your due date?
My 3 children still pray every night at bedtime for Emily, Candace, and Israel. You can put us down to pray for Emily at 9:30 pm. each evening. We will also pray for her the morning of the surgery, so if you want you can put us in the 9:00 am. spot.
Thank you,
Roberta

Hi Amy,I haven't forgotten. I was trying to wait on a surgery time, but beings we are not sure give me 6:30a.m. and 7:00p.m. on Monday, April 24th.
Come on prayer partners, we need to get these times filled in. This family doesn't only need prayer before surgery, but needs strength for the journey also, Soldiers of the Cross, Traci
Hi Amy,
Please sign me up to be praying @ 6pm
My husband has a baseball game this evening and a bunch of us will be going to pizza afterwards--I'll have everyone there pray as well. That will be around 8:00pm

and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
