• Saturday, April 22, 2006 - CHCHC Newsletter, ed 11

The CHCHC Newsletter is now going to be posted only once a week on the weekend.  Please keep your comments and pictures coming... just add them to the most recent Newsletter posted each week.  We all love reading how everyone is doing!

C.H.C.H.C. STATS  - 192 women signed up for email notification!
TIME REMAINING IN CHCHC from Day 22:  31 days
TIME REMAINING IN CHCHC at the end of the week:  24 days

CHALLENGES THIS WEEK:
  • DAY 22 - Devotion & Reflection (Sunday)
  • DAYS 23 & 24  - Stairway & Hallway  (Mon. and Tues.)
  • DAYS 25 thru 28 - Laundry Room  (Wed. thru Sat.)
    • NOTE:  If you don't have a stairway or hallway, or don't need to do anything in these areas, begin in your laundry room on Monday.  If you wind up getting done early in the week, then you can either finish up a room from the previous weeks, or keep going!  SOME of us (no need to mention names) will need the extra time to get the laundry room done!   Do what will work best for you!

STAIRWAY & HALLWAY
LAUNDRY ROOM

REMEMBER....  (what to prepare and plan each night)
  • What's for breakfast tomorrow?  Get anything ready that you can tonight.
  • Lay out clothes for everyone... (BY THE WAY... JUST BECAUSE WE HAVEN'T TACKLED THE LAUNDRY ROOM, THAT DOES NOT MEAN THAT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BE DOING LAUNDRY!  Make sure you've got that on your schedule so you don't get further behind and have a real disaster to catch up when we get to that room... which happens NEXT WEEK!)
  • As you get done in each room, make sure that you're keeping them picked up.  Take 10 - 15 minutes before the kids go to bed by having them help pick up, and then if anything else needs touching up before you go to bed... GET IT DONE so everything is done and you wake up to a clean house in the morning!  It will start the whole day better!
  • Have you looked at your Weekly Challenge Calendar and know what's happening tomorrow and the rest of the week?  (appointments, etc that you can't forget...)
  • Have you planned your Weekly Menu?
  • Write in your Prayer Journal on how you're feeling and doing with the challenge, as well as meditate on the verse for week two.

REFLECT... (on The CHCHC)
  • Leave a comment on the blog to share and encourage others. Your comments may uplift and encourage someone else! Be a blessing! (For those of you who are not "homeschool-  bloggers", you can still leave comments! For those of you who don't have a blog, please leave a comment and sign your name.  If you have a blog somewhere else, than just leave your link in the comment. Here are some questions to get you thinking... be sure to be writing your thoughts in your Prayer Journal as well!  We never know what will happen from one day to the next, and your journal is an important part of remembering your journey throughout The Clean Heart, Clean Home Challenge.
  • How is the challenge going for you?
  • How is God speaking been speaking to you?
  • How is your Challenge Schedule/Plan going?
  • Most importantly... how is your HEART?  What are you learning about yourself?

RENEW... (your heart)

Seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart.  I will be found by you, says the Lord.  Jeremiah 29:13-14 (NKJV)

PRAY:
Dear Heavenly Father,
I am behind in so much, and I feel like there are too many things that have piled up in my life.  In all of that I confess that there have been times when I have let my life "pile up" over You.  Thank You for being there for me, even though I am so undeserving of the many chances You've given and continue to give me.  I know that when I seek You with all my heart, I will find You.  I pray that my heart would remain "clean" in You, Lord, so that I will not let life get it "dirty".  Thank You for Your gracious love for me.
In Jesus' name,
Amen.
