So you're moving right along in
The Clean Heart, Clean Home Challenge,
but there's a few things that need to be addressed... if you've found
that as you're nearing the end of the CHCHC and have been wondering
what will happen when it's over and how you'll keep it up, then check
out the new daily up-keep list
for your heart and home! To see and print the
Keepin' Up Up-Keep List, click the following link:
KEEPIN' UP UP-KEEP LISTYou
can add this to your organizer at any time. Daily Up-Keep needs to
happen... well... daily! A suggestion might be to laminate the list
(or take clear contact paper) so you'll have it and it won't get
ruined. Then you can just take an eraseable marker and mark things off
as you get them done each day.
I hope that this will bless you and help get a routine going for your
heart and home. It's divided into morning, early afternoon (around
lunch) and late afternoon (before supper) and evening (after supper
until bedtime). I've included some blanks for you to fill in if I've
left something out (for those who homeschool or have pets, etc.). I
hope you'll find it to be helpful overall. One idea for it is to
laminate it (clear contact paper works great too!) so you can use it
over and over again.
As I said, I'm in the process of getting
a weekly one done as well that will help you maintain your home after
the challenge by working in rooms weekly. I'll let you know when
that's ready (probably after baby).
I've also made a "Half Way
Through" sheet for you to evaluate how things are going for you in
comparison to the beginning of the challenge. Put it after your "BEFORE
BEGINNING" sheet toward the beginning of your organizer so you can see
what your goals were in the beginning, and if you're on track, or what
you need to work on. THIS IS NOT MEANT TO STRESS OR DEPRESS... it's to
help you make sure you're following the Lord's will for you in this
challenge. Remember your HEART is the most important thing!) Click
the following link to print it off:
HALF WAY THROUGH...Remember,
as you "deep clean" and declutter you heart and home, don't forget the
daily maintenance that needs to happen as well. If you don't take care
of the daily things, you will eventually be back to where you started!
Take time with the Lord and do accomplish your "daily chores" in your
home.
Keep looking up to Him to guide your day and your heart!
In Him,
Amy
