Dear Jesus,
I'm so sorry for the things I did today,
I wasn't very good,
and so I had to stop and pray...

When others made mistakes,
the things I said made them feel bad,
I wish I could take back those words
I said that made them sad.

I didn't think of others,
and was selfish with my time,
I should have been more kind
by putting their needs before mine.

I was bossy, and I yelled a lot,
and hurt the ones I love
instead of being patient;
showing love like from Above.

But worst of all, when things got tough,
I didn't first seek You
to respond the way You'd want to see...
I didn't act like You.

So Jesus, please forgive me,
and help me to be good.
And give me all the strength I need
to do the things I should.

I blew it today, and You still love me.
Help me to love like You too,
and to be the mother You want me to be
 showing love in all that I do.

Thank You, dear Lord, for trusting me
with blessings so meek and mild
And believing in me, even when I don't.  
I love you.  Love, Your Child
