Friday, August 26, 2005 - An Unbelievable Story... PLEASE PRAY!
I came across this site on Old Paths blog where she wrote, "The
Craig family lost their three year old son suddenly this past April to
a seizure in his sleep. Several weeks later Social Services removed
their remaining four children (including a young, nursing baby) from
their home. This heartbreaking story could happen to anyone. It hit
home especially to me since the ages of their children are so close to
those of our own beloved little ones. They need our fervent prayers.
You may visit their website here: www.allaboutwes.org.
This is another heartrending example of the wrong that Social Services
does, as well as how they misuse the power they should not have."
My heart is breaking for this family... I can't imagine the loss they must be going through...
"Lord,
please bring Your peace to this family. As a mother, I can't
imagine missing so many things in my children's lives. Please
bring them back together and keep the children safe. May they not
forget their mother's embrace and their father's kiss. I pray
they will be together soon. In Jesus' name, Amen."
Ugh! I started out here last night after I read your comment about traveling the country! But, I was so moved by the testimony of this family, that I couldnt' continue! Thanks for sharing this ! I put their site as my homepage so that I could remember to pray for them every day and I told whoever I could thinkof about them-I usually don't do that...Then when I got here this morning, I got lost looking at your site and other entries! I did stop by here once before...I dont'know why I didn't come again! I remember the book study-I wanetd to do it, but couldn't get the book adn the library doesn'thave it. Maybe some day I will. ARe you liking it? You seem to have a bit of information for the Disorganized also! Not many people understand that it is a most humiliating and debilitating disfunction! (JK!) I am among the most disorganized of them all! I am chief of the disorganized! WEll, I have added you to my friends list so that I can follow you and get to know you a bit.
What have you done toward that dream to travel the country? Have you heard Lisa Welchel speak lately on Focus onthe Family?
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
Saturday, August 27, 2005 - finally!
What have you done toward that dream to travel the country? Have you heard Lisa Welchel speak lately on Focus onthe Family?
Well, have a great weekend...
