I'm going to send some other friends over to read your SHMILY posts. What a sweet idea to remind us to show our husbands how much we love them. : )
Blessings,

I absolutely LOVE this! Thanks for sharing the link back to this story (I cam here from your newest SHMILY assignment). SHMILY assignements are a GREAT IDEA!!! Oh I am so excited! And I have to share a little something here. ABout 2 years ago, I bought a jewlery box for my daughter that everytime you opened it up played Whinne The Pooh. My husband did not like this, so he took out the sound card, which still worked! It was silent when there was no light, but if it got the right amount of light, it started playing.
So I hid it somewhere in his office. He found it and hid it somewhere in my closet. This went back and forth until one day I realized I had not heard it in a long time. But suddenly I kept hearing it, off and on. It was driving me crazy that I could NOT find it! I had to call him at work (something I try to never do when he is away on business) and beg him to tell me. He couldn't remember! So for the whole day I was going insane! I would hear it off and on everywhere I went! Downstairs, upstairs, in the closet, under the bed. Turns out it was in my shirt pocket so perfectly that the light had to hit it just right to make it play!! This was a nice little romantic game we played back and forth! (Just so you know, I got him back pretty good by hiding it in his tool box! Drove him CRAZY for DAYS trying to find it!) :D
My husband and I have been doing the "Shmily" thing for a while now..ever since we read about it in the book, "Night Light" by James Dobson. It is a couples' devotional book.. awesome! Our favorite thing is to write it on a piece of paper and hide it where the other will least expect it. One place I hid it was in the coffee grinds!
This has even spread through our deaf church.. and now one of our couples.. have started doing it too! It is a great way to be close even when we are not together! :).. Thanks for sharing it!
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
