Okay... so I've been feeling horribly
convicted lately. I mean, I could hardly even sleep last
night. I tossed and turned, and just laid there trying to figure
out what was wrong. I asked the Lord to reveal it to me, and the
first thing that came to mind was
JenIG...
Now, she's really been going through a time of it lately... poison ivy (returning her to her
sasquatch state),
phantom husband (who has
finally returned),
70 year-old nudist neighbors, a
sister who teases (and seems ungrateful for being saved from the
goats that
were raising her), and a
16 year-old that continually makes fun of the fact she is "challenged" in the kitchen.
I would therefore, like to propose we, as christian sisters, show our
support to our fellow christian sister, by encouraging her. In
light of the information from her daughter, I've decided to put
together a new cookbook for Jen. Please take a moment sometime
this weekend, and write down a recipe for our dear sister in
Christ. Now, make sure that you've included ALL directions and
measurements. If it's too difficult... you should maybe pick a
different one... by the way, no one can take celery with peanut butter,
as I've already choosen that one... and remember, she has a large
family... and 'how 'bout the occassions where she invites people over?
Please email me your recipes (at amy@dandelionseeds.com) and I will get
them together ASAP for Jen (and her family as well...)! Let's
show our love by coming together and helping someone who is hurting...
okay... she seems to be okay... but how 'bout those children?!
Can you imagine eating mushy macaroni?
All recipes will be divided into the following categories:
- Easy Snacks
- Easy Desserts
- Easy Salads
- Easy Soups
- Easy Lunches
- Easy Meals
- Really Easy Meals
- REALLY
Super Easy Meals (I'm thinking of laminating this part of the book, so
the pages won't wear from usage... then again... they might burn more
easily on the stove...)
(Please include what category you
feel your recipe is most appropriate for. These will eventually
be posted, along with your blog address.)
Thank you in
advance, for those of you who have heard these heartfelt words, and
accepted the call to help another. Bless you!
In Him,
Amy
