• Friday, November 4, 2005 - A Mother's T.R.E.K. - Dani

For those of you who have been following the Craig Family, continue keeping them in your prayers.  I've also added a recent email from Dani.  Please email her when you can and let her know you're praying for her and her family.  I know she is comforted by your prayers.

A story like this changes things for me... I go about my daily life, while someone is hurting...  Then, I remember, there are so many people with so many real hurts... mine seem so small in comparison when I have six healthy children and husband.

So, in honor of the Craig Family and Dani (and what she's went through over the last several months), spend time with your children today... I'm not talking about school, or cleaning with the kids... I mean, taking some time out of life and really spending time... talk to them, hear them... listen to their fears and dreams... get to know them and where they're at today.

Getting on T.R.A.C.K. (Totally Random Acts of Cleaning Kindness) is important... the whole house runs more smoothly.  But a mother's T.R.E.K. (Totally Random Events with Kids) is more important.  Take time to bless your children today... you will bless yourself as well.  Get on TRACK tomorrow...  Choose to put off your goals today, and focus on your blessings instead.

In Him,
Amy

I love the times that I truly spend completely and totally with my kids! Makes me wonder why I don't do that more often!

I'M "JUST" A MOM...
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
