Sunday, November 4, 2007 - Day Four... Brothers & Sisters in Christ
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank You so much for my brothers and sisters in Christ. I have been so blessed by so many... some I have never even seen because I met them on one of my blogs! Lord, so many people have sent me encouraging emails, or left uplifting comments at Your prodding and I thank You Lord. You know how much it's meant to me. I remember a particularly low time in life when Mike even took words others had written over time about me or to me, and printed them out, leaving them on my pillow to read before bed. I was reminded of Your goodness to me and was overwhelmed.
There are even those who were a daily part of our lives that we don't see much anymore, but have an unbreakable bond because it was built on You. Lord, I thank You for those relationships. I know they will always be... whether on earth or in heaven. Thank You also Lord, for the relationships You are bringing into our life as of late. I know some of these in particular, will be more of the "life long" friendships in You.
I also pray a covering over my children, and the relationship they have with each other. May they not be just brothers and sisters in blood, but brothers and sisters in Christ. I pray they will thank You for each other and lift one another in prayer, praising You for the gift of siblings. As they grow to love You and learn more about You, I pray for them to encourage one another and hold each other accountable to Your ways. May the bond between them be strong, and as they marry, may the circle not be broken but enlarged as I pray for their spouses to be the ones You have created for each of them, therefore raising an army for You.
2 Thessalonians - 1 3 We must always thank God for you, brothers and sisters. This is only right, because your faith is growing more and more, and the love that every one of you has for each other is increasing.

Amy
and a woman seeking the Lord's Will (daily), a wife (striving to keep the romance alive), a "Smamma" (Step- mother) of one and a homeschooling mom of seven (I was never going to have children), who starts every day over (after messing SOME thing up the day before), knowing God's grace is overflowing (just like my laundry), and so thankful He's blessed me more than I'll ever deserve.
