With 2007 over, I have to admit that I look back and hope that 2008 will be better. In that same breath, however, I know that my life was touched by others throughout the "blogsphere" and their pain.  Mike and I may have had some difficulties, but when I come across a mother who watches as her child suffers, or a man who looses his wife to cancer... well, my world once again, comes back into focus.  I know that I can't "fix" these people's hurts.  I don't know if I will ever meet these people to tell them how they've impacted my life so greatly.   I wonder what 2008 will bring for these lives that are hurting... and I think about how they enter a new year... in a way they never had planned.

Everyone has had pain... and when it comes to pain... it's hard... it hurts... and it's real.  It doesn't really matter what another person thinks about it... it doesn't matter if someone else has it "worse"... when you're in the "thick of it"... it consumes you... covers you... until all you can do is...

Cry out to Jesus...

So for those of you who went through struggles in 2007, or are still having a tough time, please share your prayer request/story on your blog  and leave the direct link below with "Mr. Linky" so we'll be able to go to your site to lift you in prayer.  Please share any other people that you can think of as well... and it doesn't matter if you've already seen someone posted on a blog for prayer... you never know who will visit what blogs, so please list whomever you think of.  There is no "right way" to go about this... it's just about lifting one another in prayer.  We'll do this for the month of January, so please spread the word.  Continue to pray for those who have been listed as well.  It's a big world, but it gets smaller with each heart that connects.  (If you don't have a blog, please feel free to share your prayer request here by leaving a comment.)  You can also use the CRY OUT TO JESUS blinkie to spread the word to others about this if you'd like.  No request is too insignificant... no pain too light... and no struggle too easy... please share, whatever it is.
